School Renovation Projects

YETIPAUL FOUNDATION is currently undertaking a range of initiatives to significantly enhance the quality of life for children. On February 24, we launched the installation of a solar-powered borehole, which is now providing a reliable water source for the children and the surrounding community. In addition, we have constructed a brand new toilet facility to replace the old one, and this project is scheduled for commissioning in June 2024.

Restoration of Oke-Ita Nursery and Primary School

To ensure that the children have a safe, conducive, and well-equipped learning environment, we embarked on an ambitious refurbishment project for the Oke-Ita Nursery and Primary School.

A structurally sound school environment directly reduces absenteeism and inspires students to take pride in their education journey.

Prior to our intervention, the building structure posed functional learning challenges for the students. Through targeted architectural repairs, total surface re-surfacing, structural painting, and protective upgrades, we have established a renewed space where children can study with maximum security, dignity, and comfort.

Communication Outreach

The celebration of the 2024 Children’s Day by YETIPAUL Foundation is to recognise the great role children play in the live of our women in the society.

Women Empowerment

The Yeti Paul Foundation actively cultivates partnerships with both local and international entities to orchestrate a meaningful observance of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024. Through collaborative efforts, we aspire to amplify the voices and uplift the experiences of women, fostering inclusivity and empowerment on a global scale.

Solar Powered Borehole

Solar Powered Borehole

Acknowledging the adverse impact of soaring material costs, we strategically prioritized project aspects feasible within the available financial resources. In February 2024, we mobilized resources for drilling a borehole, ensuring essential water supply for construction and later providing clean, fresh water for the school’s children and staff. We are delighted to announce the completion of the borehole, equipped with cutting-edge solar-powered technologies aimed at optimizing resource planning and management, monitoring water quality supply, and enhancing sanitation service delivery efficiency. These sustainable methods are anticipated to reduce electricity costs in facility management, ensuring effective service delivery. This initiative not only guarantees access to clean water for the school’s young learners but also extends its benefits to over 200 individuals from economically marginalized backgrounds within the community.

BEFORE AFTER

Sanitary Facility

March saw the initiation of constructing a sanitary facility, providing 10 modern toilets for school users.

Additionally, the Yeti Paul Foundation actively cultivates partnerships with both local and international entities to orchestrate a meaningful observance of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024. Through collaborative efforts, we aspire to amplify the voices and uplift the experiences of women, fostering inclusivity and empowerment on a global scale.

In conclusion, we are seeking your support to raising funds to ensure that the classroom renovation project is completed and equipped. Yeti Paul Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported our mission. Together, let us persist in championing the cause of poverty alleviation and sustainable development, working towards a world where hope, prosperity, and promise flourish for every individual.

Sanitary Facility

In Communication and Awareness promotion, we launched public campaigns to engage citizens, encourage environmental conservation, and promote the importance of sustainable education and WASH practices. Notably, our reform mission in August 2023 involved planting 50 trees, symbolising our commitment to restoring protective tree cover and raising awareness about the crucial role in safeguarding the environment and infrastructure. Addressing these issues is not only critical for the immediate well-being of communities but also essential for sustaining a conducive learning environment in the long term.

A major area of focus is preventive healthcare and public health awareness. In recognition of the growing burden of non-communicable diseases and the limited access to routine health screening within many communities, the Foundation prioritised awareness initiatives aimed at encouraging healthier lifestyles and early detection practices. The Programme has been able to provide health care information access to over 100 individuals in local communities.

the Foundation is also responding to the increasing economic hardship affecting vulnerable households through targeted humanitarian support interventions. While the support provided is not sufficient to address every need within the communities, the intervention offered temporary relief and encouragement to beneficiaries facing challenging living conditions.

Strengthening Partnerships:

Institutionally, the Foundation continues to strengthen stakeholder relationships and deepen community engagement through series of consultations, and informal engagements to better understand prevailing community needs, social challenges, and priority areas requiring support. These consultations further assisted the Foundation in improving the identification and targeting of vulnerable individuals and households for future humanitarian and development interventions.

Annual Debate
“Water as a Life Resource” Debate 2025.

By investing in education and dialogue, the Charity directly supports capacity building among young people, through Annual debate for long-term, community-led impact. These debates are designed as a youth-cantered advocacy and learning intervention, using dialogue and critical thinking to deepen understanding of water’s role in health, sanitation, economic stability, and social cohesion. Through this platform, students moved beyond theory to become informed advocates for water stewardship and WASH awareness within their communities.

Children Scholarship Fund

Across Nigeria, over 10 million school-age children are out of school, while millions more risk dropping out due to poverty, rising living costs, and lack of basic support (UNICEF, 2022). These children do not lack potential—they lack opportunity.

At the Yeti Paul Foundation, we believe education is one of the strongest tools for protecting vulnerable children from poverty, exploitation, crime, and harmful influences, while giving them hope for a better future.

With just £100, you can support a child’s education for an entire school year—keeping them in school, protected, and hopeful. Through this initiative, the Foundation aims to support at least 1,000 vulnerable children across Nigeria.

“Sponsor a child to stay in school, stay protected, and keep hope alive.”
“Each scholarship is a gateway to opportunity and a brighter future.”

Health Clinic Renovation Project:

The Foundation is also requesting donation for N 30,000,000.00 Health Renovation project to strengthening institutional capacity and equip community clinic to improve access for older persons and individuals living with disabilities who require specialized, age friendly healthcare services.
